City of Palm Bay executes agreements with non-profits for over $3.5 million in ARPA funding to addresses homelessness and affordable housing
To make a positive impact locally to address the nationwide issue of homelessness and affordable housing, Palm Bay City Council awarded $3.5 million in State & Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, otherwise known as American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, Ranger began the full depth reclamation of the portion of Emerson Drive from the C-1 Canal (area of Fred Lee Park) south to Fairhaven St (the last intersection before Emerson intersects with Malabar Road.

A pre-planned shutdown is scheduled for November 30, 2022. Water service to utilities customers affected will be experiencing low pressures due to a contractor relocation of a fire hydrant. Service to these customers will be temporarily shut down beginning at approximately 8:00 A.M.

The annual City of Palm Bay Holiday Light Parade returns to Malabar Road this year at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 3. The parade will leave the Palm Bay Campus of Eastern Florida State College, go west on Malabar Rd, and end at Palm Bay City Hall.
