Aikido is a unique Japanese Martial Art that translates as ‘The Way of Harmonious Energy’. Students learn fundamentals of posture, centering, and readiness to redirect the force of attack using locks and throws for effective self-protection without aggression. Traditional Aikido focuses on the static through dynamic application of techniques as developed in the Iwama Period of O’Sensei’s (Founder of Aikido) life. Students learn basic through advanced application with an integration of Aiki-Ken (Wooden Sword) & Aiki-Jo (Wooden Staff) as an emphasis to the Body Arts.  The Adult classes are open to ages 15 & up. Classes will be taught by George Marx Sensei, in a relaxed environment while still teaching the proper etiquette needed for practice. Students will be able to progress and advance at their own pace. 

Classes are held at the Ted Whitlock Community Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. 

Fees are $40 per month and $30 per month for additional family members.

Cardio Belly Dancing is for ages 15 and up. Classes are $40 for the 4-week session. Classes are Wednesday evenings from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM at Ted Whitlock Community Center (370 Championship Cir NW, inside of Fred Poppe Regional Park). Drop-ins for the class are $12.

Mushinoto Ryu Jujutsu is a modern American system of Japanese Jujutsu, combining several Martial Art forms and traditional Japanese training methods. Training is available to anyone age 8 and older who is capable and ready to learn.

Classes are held at Ted Whitlock Community Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 PM to 7:15 PM for the mixed class and 7:15 PM to 8:15 PM for the advanced class.

Fees are $40 per month and $35 per month for additional family members.

Tae Kwon Do with Team Dragon Martial Arts Academy teaches the ITF style Tae Kwon Do forms and incorporates self defense techniques and weapons forms into the curriculum. Classes are taught by 6th Degree Black Belt Master Donald Keyser. Master Keyser earned his 6th Degree Black Belt through the Moo Duk Kwon under Grand Master Nick Zambri of the American Breaking & Combative Tae Kwon Do Federation (ABCTF) and is the Regional Coordinator for the United States Breaking Association (USBA/WBA). He has trained students who have competed and placed in the World, National, and State level throughout the year.

Classes are held at the Ted Whitlock Community Center on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6 PM to 7 PM. This class is for ages 7 and up. 

Fees are $75 per month. There is a $95 registration fee that includes the uniform and handbook. The first two classes are free!

Dancing Little Stars teaches ballet, tap, age appropriate hip hop and yoga to dancers. The curriculum is designed to make dance class fun and exciting.

Classes are held at the Ted Whitlock Community Center (370 Championship Cir. NW) on Thursday evenings.

Class for ages 6 to 9 (ballet and tap) is from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM, class for ages 2 to 4 (beginner ballet) is from 5:15 PM to 5:45 PM, and class for ages 3 to 6 (ballet and tap) is from 5:45 PM to 6:30 PM.

The fee is $65 per month per participant.
