Tree Lighting Ceremony

Kick off the holiday season in Palm Bay as we light up our Palm Bay Christmas Tree!

The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Friday, December 6 at 6:30 PM at the Tony Rosa Community Center (1502 Port Malabar Blvd NE).

Enjoy performances by the Palm Elementary School Lil' Pirates. Refreshments will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting United Way of Brevard. Bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and get a free light-up Christmas Tree wand.

After the tree lighting ceremony, stick around for pictures with Santa inside the community Center.

Holiday Light Parade

The Biggest Holiday Parade on the Space Coast returns to Malabar Road again this year! The 2024 City of Palm Bay Holiday Light Parade presented by Thrifty Specialty Produce & Meats and Cocina Cafe will be held on Saturday, December 7 starting at 6 PM.

The 3-mile parade will leave the Eastern Florida State College campus and head north on San Filippo Drive. It will then move west on Malabar Road and end at Minton Road, in front of City Hall. Dozens of brightly lit floats, high school marching bands, cheer squads, motorized vehicles, and more will delight the crowd and usher in the holiday season.

Parade is sponsored by Gary Yeomans Ford Palm Bay.

Breakfast with Santa

Palm Bay Recreation and the Palm Bay Police Department present Breakfast with Santa at the Ted Whitlock Community Center, inside Fred Poppe Regional Park.

Breakfast with Santa will take place on Saturday, December 14 from 8:30 AM to 11 AM. The entry fee is $5 per person. Children ages 2 and under are admitted free with paying adult.

Beef O' Brady's Bayside lakes will be serving pancakes and sausage. We will also have coffee and hot chocolate provided by Starbucks, orange juice, and pastries. There will be inflatables, games, and crafts.

Parents, remember to bring your cameras for photo ops with Santa and his friends!

Free Movie Featuring Frozen

Join us at Fred Poppe Regional Park on Saturday, December 14 for a free Movie in the Park featuring Frozen (PG).

The movie will be shown on our outdoor movie screen beginning at 6 PM. Seating begins at 5 PM. Elsa will be there before the movie to meet and great everybody.

Enjoy a free night of fun for the whole family. Bring chairs, blankets, snacks, and bug spray and enjoy a movie outside under the stars. No vehicles allowed in the movie area.

Santa Calling

Santa will be making calls to kids right here in Palm Bay!

Santa Calling is FREE! Calls will be made on Tuesday, December 17 or Wednesday, December 18 between 5 PM and 7:30 PM. Registration is required and the deadline is Saturday, December 14 at 4 PM.

16th Annual Family Christmas Extravaganza

2024 marks the 16th Annual Family Christmas Extravaganza!

The Family Christmas Extravaganza takes place on Saturday, December 21 from 10:30 AM to 5 PM at Fred Poppe Regional Park (1951 Malabar Rd. NW).

This is a 100% FREE community event featuring live entertainment, free popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs, and drinks. Free activities include bounce houses, horse rides, face painting, giveaways, and SO much more!
