The City of Palm Bay offers Youth Leagues and Adult Leagues for a variety of sports. Our leagues are both operated by the City, as well as through partnerships with established athletic organizations.

The Palm Bay Recreation Department is always looking for Sports Officials to officiate our Adult and Youth Leagues. Officials must pass a background and fingerprint check through our HR Department to be eligible.

Palm Bay Recreation hosts an Adult Pickleball League at the Ted Whitlock Community Center for players of all skill levels. League games are played on Wednesday and/or Thursday nights starting at 6:30, 7:30, or 8:30 PM inside the Ted Whitlock Community Center (370 Championship NW).

Teams consist of 2 people and can be 2 men, 2 women, or one of each.

Fees include a regular season schedule plus a post season playoff tournament. Teams will play 3 games against one opponent each week. Calls will be made on the honor system.

There will be a maximum of 40 teams in this league. Once teams are registered, they will be placed in groups for divisional play based on skill level.

Church Softball

Senior Softball (Ages 45+)

Games begin November 7, so register now!

Brevard Senior Softball (ages 45+) plays on Thursday nights at Liberty Park and is available to individual players of all levels. The league is recreational softball for all those who still love to put on a uniform and play a very competitive game.

Games are played Thursday nights at Liberty Park in Palm Bay

Boxing is for ages 8 and up. Boxing is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:30 PM to 7 PM at Tony Rosa Community Center. Participants must contact Coach Johnny Hernandez for more information or to sign up.

Requirements

The monthly training fee for ages 8 to 16 is $25 and ages 17 and up is $45
Athlete Annual USA Boxing Registration (insurance) cost is $75 (ages 8-10), $80 (ages 11-16), $85 (17-30)
Club Registration Annual Fee (insurance) is $30
Tony Rosa Community Center Membership for participant
Copy of Birth Certificate; two recent (2 x 2) passport photos
Participants under 18 MUST bring a parent/legal guardian to sign required forms
Provide annual medical certificate clearance
Registration for Annual USA Boxing insurance is required and can be found online, or you may register at the club.
