The Palm Bay Police Department provides a variety of off duty safety and security functions throughout the city by allowing uniformed officers to engage in extra duty police work.

Cost for Extra Duty Details:

• Starting at $45/hr (4 Hour Minimum)
• Admin Fee - $5/hr (per Police Officer)
• Holiday Rate - $10/hr (per Police Officer) on the following holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
