The City of Palm Bay Code of Ordinances represents the most current regulations adopted by the City. The Code is a compilation of ordinances of the City. Following adoption by the City Council, ordinances of a general and permanent nature are codified into the Palm Bay Code of Ordinances. This Code guides how the City is governed and is updated as the City grows and changes.
The City contracts with American Legal Publishing (ALP) Company to codify its ordinances. A printed copy of the Code may be obtained at the Office of the City Clerk and is updated twice per year; the online Code is updated within 15 days after the ordinance enactment date. ALP updates the Code upon submission of ordinances from the City Clerk and maintains the data in a searchable format on its website.
The majority of ordinances passed by City Council are not included in the codified ordinances, such as those related to land use. Please contact the Office of the City Clerk for further information regarding non-codified ordinances.
