The City of Palm Bay will host their Annual Palm Bay Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 9 beginning at 10 AM. Participants and spectators alike are invited to help honor our veterans and their families. Our Grand Marshals will be the the Gold Star Family of SSgt. Tristen K. Wright, his parents Ricky and Novolia Wright and his sister Demyia Biggs.
The parade will start at the Tony Rosa Community Center at 10 AM and head east on Port Malabar Blvd to Veterans Memorial Park. There will be viewing areas for the public all along Port Malabar Blvd as well as in front of Veterans Memorial Park. We ask that you arrive before 9 am to set up at your viewing locations.
Port Malabar Blvd will be completely closed in both directions from Clearmont St to Bianca Dr NE beginning at 9 AM. The estimated time of the parade ending is 11 AM. The roads will re-open as soon as barriers and pedestrians are cleared from the roadway and clean-up is complete.
Area businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate in the parade and support our veterans. We are also looking for military groups and clubs to join the parade to be honored by the community. There are NO REGISTRATION FEES for parade participants.
