Last year there were several reported sightings of large hairy creatures roaming through the woods in many of our parks. The sightings have picked up again this year.  Since October 20 is National Sasquatch Awareness Day, we are celebrating for several weeks leading up to the big day with our fall event: Autumn Adventure 2.0: The Return for Bigfoot.

Our Autumn Adventure kicks off with virtual events on Monday, September 27 and runs through Wednesday, October 20 at 8 PM. The Adventure will end with a special celebration at Fred Poppe Regional Park on Saturday, October 23 with a free drive-up movie in the park featuring Missing Link (PG).

The virtual events for Autumn Adventure include a costume contest, pumpkin carving/decoration contest, and Sasquatch scavenger hunt! All the virtual events are FREE and start on Monday, September 27.
