In partnership with Palm Bay Parks and Recreation and American Legion Post 117, Anglers for Conservation (AFC) is proud to bring the Hook Kids on Fishing Program (HKOF) to Palm Bay on Saturday, May 1 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
This conservation-minded program is open to the public and teaches children casting, rod safety, knot tying, tackle box, boating, and conservation. HKOF is taught by Volunteers who are professional guides and knowledgeable anglers from surrounding communities and directed by AFC Staff. Parents and kids bring your smiles, positive attitudes and patience along with you!
Kids ages 5 to 15 are welcome and registration is FREE. Space is limited to 40 kids for this program so register early. All registered kids will receive a free rod/reel and tackle box thanks to the Fish Florida Tag.
Parent/guardian must sign a waiver and always accompany children while in attendance. Event starts on time so please arrive 10 minutes early to get signed in. Fishing equipment is NOT needed to attend.

The Hook Kids on Fishing program is a product of the Anglers for Conservation, a non-profit-501-C3 with a mission to inspire new generations of marine stewards through education, conservation, and fishing.
