Dining, Culture and entertainment
It Changes Every Five Miles
One of the greatest parts of living on Florida's Space Coast is that many of our cultural events and fine dining opportunities can be enjoyed outdoors. It seems that downtown revitalization tends to start with trendy restaurants and quaint nightclubs. The Cocoa, Titusville, and Melbourne historical downtown areas are perfect examples. Viera and Palm Bay are relatively modern areas and offer their own style of upscale dining and entertainment within their master planned community boundaries.
From Sebastian Inlet to Port Canaveral, you'll find beach style settings, bars and restaurants that put you in a "vacation style" mood any time of year. You can find everything from Sushi to Mediterranean to Continental Cuisine.
The cultural calendar on the Space Coast is jam packed with outdoor events, festivals, art shows and musical programs every weekend. Indoors the Maxwell King Performing Arts Center leads the way with famous vocalists, plays, comedians and rock stars not to mention our own Brevard Symphony Orchestra.
There are many small venues showcasing local talent such as the Henegar Center and Melbourne Auditorium, the Cocoa Village Playhouse in Cocoa and Surfside Playhouse in Cocoa Beach.
Many jazz, rock and blues musicians have a home on the Space Coast and are liable to pop in anywhere a blues/jazz jam can be found - like Lou's Blues in Indialantic.
We have four major shopping malls in Brevard - and enough specialty shopping destinations to keep the most avid shopper on a spending spree everyday, all year. From the most rare antiques to the latest in electronics, it's here.
The Space Coast is an absolutely wonderful place to build a business, work, raise a family and enjoy everyday living. Every opportunity for a most satisfying lifestyle for you, your family and your employees is in your grasp.
