Palm Bay Parks & Recreation is actively recruiting Sports Officials in all Sports for their 2009 Leagues and Tournaments. Palm Bay Parks & Recreation administers all Sports Officiating for all Palm Bay Sports.
NOTE: All Youth Softball and Little League Coaches must be NYSCA CERTIFIED to coach in Palm Bay Youth Sports. If coaches are not NYSCA CERTIFIED - they cannot coach in Palm Bay.

We are seeking dependable, experienced certified Sports Officials as well as individuals interested in getting into Sports Officiating for the first time. We will be recruiting, training, testing, and certifying all new recruits. Sports Officials with quality experience and certified expertise will be screened and evaluated to determine their pay grades and assignments. All Sports Officials will be required to attend League Certification Sessions for evaluation.
Sports Officials pay will be based on experience, level of certification, and “League Evaluation & Approval” rating. Sports Officials will be paid bi-weekly and by the City of Palm Bay directly by mail. All NEW Sports Officials pay a first year Registration Fee & an annual renewal fee each year thereafter for Certification, Training, & administrative expenses (there will be no other dues or game fees); must have the proper uniform and equipment; and pay for any required Certifications. Registration fees and Certification fees may be waived for all returning and qualified Sports Officials by attending an Annual Sports Officials Session for updating rules, policies, and re-certification.
