To pay for your Business Tax Receipt renewal, you will need your Business Control No. and the Annual Receipt Fee renewal amount provided on the renewal notice sent via mail or contact Customer Service at 321-952-3419 to obtain this information. Pay Now


Business Tax Receipt business is conducted in the Customer Service Division of the Finance Department. Customer Service is responsible for the issuance and collection of all Business Tax Receipts under the authority of Chapter 110 of the City of Palm Bay Code of Ordinance

Service is provided, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Customer Service counter located in the lobby of City Hall, 120 Malabar Road SE. (321) 952-3419. Business Tax Receipts renewals can be paid via the telephone by calling 866-989-9515 or online, Pay BTR.

An application fee and receipt fee are required in order to process applications.  The receipt fee is non-refundable once an application is submitted for processing unless the application is denied. Persons licensed by the State of Florida or certified by Brevard County must provide a copy of all applicable licenses, and or certifications at the time application is made.  Incomplete applications may result in additional processing time.  Please allow 10 -14 days to receive your Business Tax Receipt in the mail. 

Receipts may also be picked up once an application has been approved. Upon receipt of the City of Palm Bay’s Business Tax Receipt, you will need to take it to the Brevard County Tax Office, located at 450 Cogan Dr, SE , Palm Bay to obtain your Brevard County  Business Tax Receipt. 

On November 17, 2005, the City of Palm Bay adopted Ordinance 2005-76.  The ordinance makes it unlawful for any sexual predator or sexual offender to work in certain locations.  See Notice to Businesses (Commercial Business Applicants), and Sexual Offenders (Home Business Applicants).
