state of the city address

Council members, City staff and Palm Bay citizens:

Tonight it is my honor and privilege to deliver, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Palm Bay, the State of the City address.

Each year our community grows stronger as we continue to work towards our vision and achieve our goals. In 2007, the City embarked upon a community visioning process that brought together many diverse perspectives and developed a map of our future. Issues such as housing, transportation, recreation, economic development and land use were all discussed by the citizens who dedicated their time to creating a vision for their community. The resulting vision plan will help guide us as we update our Comprehensive Plan, consider development proposals and invest in critical infrastructure improvements.
